The International Certificate of Competence (ICC) represents a Europe-wide standard of basic boat handling skill.  The intensive 2-day course provides a theoretical and practical introduction to all aspects of boat handling, the collision regulations, navigation and basic meteorology.  The course represents excellent value for any new or inexperienced boat owner and his or her partner and family.

The ICC is a natural precursor to the more detailed RYA Day Skipper and Yachtmaster courses, although it introduces all of the essential elements.

The Certificate must be enhanced with the CEVNI endorsement in order to enter the mainland European Inland Waterway system.  See details of our CEVNI examination.
